Pre-School Facilities

Westborough Pre-School operates out of St Francis Church Hall. The Pre-School is very accessible to the communities of both Stoughton and Westborough. Pre-School activities are based within one large main room and an enclosed outdoor area.

Main Room: The main room is set-up around 7 key areas that support our core provision. These are: snack area, creative area, role-play area, book/quiet corner, construction area, music area and a writing area. This room is also used for registration and story time at the beginning and end of every session.

Outdoor Area: The Pre-School benefits from a lovely garden area which is safe and secure. The outdoor area is made available to the children every day, weather permitting, and is used for a range of activities such as riding trikes, engaging in water play, going on bug hunts etc as well as general exercise for the children.

Equipment

We think it is important to invest in high quality, stimulating and fun equipment for the children to use. New equipment is added and rotated on a regular basis to ensure that changing needs of provision are met and that the children remain engaged with what is on offer. All of the pre-school equipment is linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage seven key areas of learning in some way.
